TJ George is an award-winning singer/songwriter and recording artist who calls Columbus, Ohio, home. He has penned three solo CDs:  Melodic Groove (2010), Abilene (2012), and Fragmented Soul: Volume 1 (2015). The album, TJC-One, released in 2014, is a collaboration between TJ and Grammy-nominated songwriter, Jasey Schnaars.

As a child of the 1970s, TJ says his major musical influences include Daryl Hall, James Taylor, and Michael McDonald.

“My music is a fusion of Pop, R&B, Folk and Blue-Eyed Soul, which creates a unique genre that I like to call Melodic Groove,” TJ says. Already a popular performer throughout the Midwest, TJ says, “I’m looking forward to bringing Melodic Groove to an unlimited audience in the near future.”

Recently, TJ was invited to perform for the national songwriter showcase, Songs at the Center on PBS. He also recently delivered a powerful Tedx talk, “Driven by Passion and Vulnerability,” which universally touched audiences with music and storytelling.

TJ has shared the stage with award-winning songwriters and international touring artists such as Jesse Terry, Rebecca Loebe, Raina Rose, David Berkeley, Robby Hecht,  Korby Lenker and Kate Klim. In addition, TJ has opened for artists such as Kenny White, Maxwell Hughes of The Lumineers, and touring artist Joe Crookston.
